TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. The customer should be a minimum of 18 years of age. We reserve the right to verify the customer's age by requesting proof of ID despite the amount being exchanged.
  2. Our online exchange rates update frequently and will only apply when you visit us with the confirmation email. 
  3. We cannot always guarantee the exact order amount. However, we will endeavor to have the closes possible subject to the availability of denominations and the delivery.
  4. Orders over the phone or Whatsapp (Tel: 020 7828 3482) are either confirmed by a Whatsapp message or with an Order Number.
  5. Orders are limited to one per person per currency within a 12 hour period, and in the event of multiple orders of the same currency by the same customer, the very first order would be honoured.
  6. We reserve the right to confirm the customer's identity with the name on the order confirmation email. Any incomplete order would not be honoured.
  7. Please note the exchange rates are only applied to existing stock we hold and anything in addition, would be discussed with the customer upon placing an order.
  8. All orders are held for a maximum of 24 hours from the confirmation email/whatsapp message and can only be extended further by confirming via email or Whatsapp.
  9. We reserve the right to cancel/dishonour any orders for reasons including but not limited to significant market fluctuations.

 

CURRENCY SPECIFIC CONDITIONS

  1. Our online exchange rates do not apply to high-value denomination notes, i.e. any single note with a value exceeding £100 per note, US Dollar singles, or coins. In such cases, please call or Whatsapp us to find out the rates applicable.
  2. We cannot guarantee the denominations we have in stock and a reasonble mix of notes would be dispensed, subject to availability.
  3. During weekends and bank holidays, any payouts above £5,000 will strictly be processed by a bank transfer. Please call or WhatsApp us for more information.
  4. We buy coins of major currencies, such as Euros & US Dollars and the exchange rate would be higher.
  5. 500 Euro Bills: We buy 500 Euro bills at a maximum of 2 notes per person over a 30 day period with proof of identification. The exchange rate would be different from what is quoted online or in-store.
  6. NOK & SEK: We only buy the denominations of 50s, 100s and 200s
  7. ARS, EGP, DKK & ILS: Currently we do not buy these currencies. Our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused.

 

PAYMENTS & SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

 

We accept payments by cash, personal debit cards and bank transfers through Super Payments. Please note we would require supporting documents depending on the total transaction value.

The below list of supporting documents is required for both one-off and linked transactions carried out within a 30 or 90 day period. We also reserve the right to request further documentation to ensure the accuracy and authenticity of the details and documents provided. We may also use a third party referral agency to ensure the authenticity of the information you have provided, which may result in a soft search on your credit file. Please let us know by email if you are not happy with us carrying out this check.

 

1. CASH PAYMENTS,

a. A customer's full name and date of birth are required for any transactions amounting to £2,950 and for anything for£4,950 would require a valid photographic identification, such as a driving licence or a passport.

b. In addition, orders above the value £9,950 one-off, or any linked transaction exceeding £9,950 over 30 days, or £19,950 over 90 days would require, - Proof of address within the last 3 months, i.e. utility bills - Source of GBP, i.e. 3 months’ bank statements or payslips for currency purchase - Source of foreign currency, i.e. withdrawal slips or HMRC declaration at the UK border.

 

2. DEBIT CARD PAYMENTS,

a. Anything above £490 would require proof of identification and the maximum value of purchase using a personal debit card, per day per person, is limited to £9,950. This threshold is applicable even in the case of using multiple cards under the same name.

b. Strictly no business/corporate cards.

c. Victoria Street FX Limited is not liable for any addtional charges you may incur from your card provider.

 

3. DIRECT BANK TRANSFERS,

We would require proof of ID and address, matching the sender's details, which will be verified by our receiving bank.

In addition,

a. Anything above the value of £5,950 would require the source of funds, such as bank statements showing the history of funds, payslips, inheritance details including executor statements, asset sales with evidence etc.

b. We also reserve the right to request any further supporting documents as part of our enhanced due diligence or if requested by our processing bank.

c. Bank transfers usually happen in real time. However, sometimes it may take longer than usual depending on any further checks carried out by the transfer request initiating bank or the clearing bank. In such an unfortunate circumstance, we would have to wait for the funds to be cleared before proceeding with your transaction. To fasten the process, we would advise you to email all the supporting documents listed above and allow up to 30 minutes after ordering before you come in for collection.
