TELEPHONE, EMAIL & ONLINE ORDERS

  1. Our online exchange rates are updated frequently and apply only to orders placed through our websites, www.victoriastreetfx.com and www.victoriafxchange.com or by phone (Tel: 020 7828 3482) or our email (e: rates@victoriastreetfx.com)
  2. All orders will be honoured within the opening hours of the particular day and could be extended further only upon confirming with a staff member by phone or email.
  3. Online rates do not apply to high value denomination notes, i.e. any single note with a value exceeding £100 per note, or coins. In such cases, please call us to find the rates applicable.
  4. We buy coins of major currencies, such as Euro, US Dollars and Swiss Francs. We may choose to buy others depending on the demand, so please call us to find out more.
  5. Any orders made including coins or high value denomination notes will not be honoured at the rate agreed online and could be negotiated at the counter.
  6. Please note we do not trade 500 Euro bills as part of our company policy. 

 

PAYMENTS & SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

 

We accept payments by cash, debit cards and bank transfers. Please note we would require supporting documents depending on the total transaction value.

Below list of documents are required applies to both one-off and accumulated total value of transactions carried out within a 90 day period. We also reserve the right to request further documentation to ensure the accuracy and authenticity of the details and documents provided. We may also use a third party referral agency to ensure the authenticity of the information you have provided, which may result in a soft search on your credit file. Please let us know by email if you are not happy for us to carry out this check.

 

1. CASH PAYMENTS,

a. Customer's full name and date of birth are required for any transactions amounting to £3,0000 and for anything for£5,000 would require a valid photographic identification, such as driving licence or passport.

b. In addition, orders above the value £10,000 would require, - Proof of address within the last 3 months, i.e. utility bills - Source of GBP, i.e. 3 months’ bank statements or payslips for currency purchase - Source of foreign currency, i.e. withdrawal slips or HMRC declaration at the UK border.

 

2. DEBIT CARD PAYMENTS,

Anything above £500 would require a proof of identification and the maximum value of purchase using a single debit card in limited to £5,000. If multiple cards are to be used we would require 1(a) and 1(b) listed above.

 

3. DIRECT BANK TRANSFERS,

Would require a proof of ID and address, matching the sender's details which will be verified by our receiving bank.

In addition,

a. Anything above the value of £5,950 would require the source of funds, such as bank statements showing the history of funds, payslips, inheritance details including executor statements, asset sales with evidence etc.

b. We also reserve the right to request any further supporting documents as part of our enhanced due diligence or if requested by our processing bank

c. Bank transfers usually happen in real time, however sometimes it may take longer than usual depending on any further checks carried out by the transfer request initiating bank or the clearing bank. In such unfortunate circumstance, we would have to wait for the funds to be cleared before proceeding with your transaction. To fasten the process, we would advise you to email all the supporting documents listed above and allow up to 30 minutes after ordering before you come in for collection.
