Terms of Business

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. The customer should be a minimum of 18 years of age. We reserve the right to verify the customer's age by requesting proof of ID despite the amount being exchanged.
  2. Our online exchange rates update frequently and will only apply when you visit us with your confirmation email. 
  3. We cannot always guarantee the exact order amount. However, we will endeavor to have the closest possible subject to the availability of denominations and our delivery.
  4. Orders over the phone or Whatsapp (Tel: 020 7828 3482) are either confirmed by a Whatsapp message or with an Order Number.
  5. Orders are limited to one-"per person per currency" within a 12 hour period, and in the event of multiple orders for the same currency, the very first order would be honoured.
  6. We reserve the right to confirm the customer's identity with the name on the order confirmation email. Any incomplete order would not be honoured.
  7. Please note the exchange rates are only applied to existing stock we hold and anything in addition, would be discussed with the customer upon placing an order.
  8. All orders are held for a period of 24 hours from the confirmation email/Whatsapp message and can be extended further if confirmed by the store via email or Whatsapp.
  9. We reserve the right to cancel/dishonour any orders for reasons including but not limited to significant market fluctuations.

 

CURRENCY SPECIFIC CONDITIONS

  1. Our online exchange rates do not apply to high-value denomination notes, i.e. any single note with a value exceeding £100 per note, US Dollar singles, or coins.In such cases, refer below or Whatsapp us to find out the rates applicable.
  2. A 1% premium would be added to the banknotes of 200 Euros, 200 Swiss Francs, 1,000 Emirati Dirhams and 5,000 Czech Koruna.
  3. A 2.5% premium would be added to banknotes of 1,000 Swiss Francs, 1,000 Hong Kong Dollars and 1,000 Singapore Dollars.
  4. 500 Euro Bills: We buy 500 Euro bills at a maximum of 2 notes per person over a 30 day period with proof of identification. The exchange rate would be different from what is quoted online or in-store.
  5. CHF (Series 8): We buy at a fixed rate of 1.345CHF/£
  6. DKK: We only buy the denominations of 50s, 100s and 200s
  7. SEK: We buy all banknotes except, 1,000
  8. EGP, ILS, NOK: Currently we are not buying these currencies. Our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused.
  9. We cannot guarantee the denominations we have in stock and a reasonble mix of notes would be dispensed, subject to availability.
  10. From 4pm on Fridays till 10am on Mondays, and bank holidays, payouts above £3,000 may have to be only processed by a bank transfer. Please call or WhatsApp us for more information.
  11. We buy coins of major currencies, such as Euros & US Dollars and the exchange rate would be higher.

 

PAYMENTS & SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

 

We accept payments by cash, personal debit cards and bank transfers via Super Payments. Please note we would require supporting documents depending on the total transaction value.

The below list of supporting documents is required for both one-off and linked transactions carried out within a 30 or 90 day period. We also reserve the right to request further documentation to ensure the accuracy and authenticity of the details and documents provided. We may also use a third party referral agency to ensure the authenticity of the information you have provided, which may result in a soft search on your credit file. Please let us know by email if you are not happy with us carrying out this check.

 

1. CASH PAYMENTS,

a. The customer's full name and date of birth are required for any transactions over £2,950. For transactions over £4,950 we would require a valid photographic identification, such as a UK driving licence or an International passport.

b. In addition, orders above the value £9,950 one-off, or any linked transaction exceeding £9,950 over 30 days, or £19,950 over 90 days would require the following;7

- Proof of ID

- Proof of address within the last 3 months, i.e. utility bills

- Source of Funds, i.e. 3 months’ bank statements, payslips, HMRC declaration at the UK border etc.

- Source of Weath, i.e. documents showing the accumulation of funds-inheritance details including executor statements, asset sales with evidence etc.

 

2. DEBIT CARD PAYMENTS,

a. Transactions over £490 would require proof of identification and the maximum value of purchase using a personal debit card, per day per person, is limited to £4,950. This threshold is applicable even in the case of using multiple cards under the same name.

b. Strictly no credit cards, business or corporate cards.

c. Victoria Street FX Limited is not liable for any addtional charges you may incur from your card provider.

 

3. PAYMENTS VIA SUPER PAYMENTS,

a. We would require proof of ID for all transactions.

b. Payments are processed through customer's mobile banking app by scanning the QR code available in store.

c. Personal UK based bank accounts only, for more information please refer Super Payments website.

d. We also reserve the right to request any further supporting documents as part of our enhanced due diligence or if requested by our processing bank.
